Each year the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing reaches to to ask the community to make charitable contribution to address our most pressing needs. Your gift to the Y’s Annual Campaign will help make a real difference in the lives of kids and families that are being helped through scholarships camping programs, childcare services, feeding programs and program for chronic disease prevention.

2026 Annual Campaign Giving
Why does the Y have an annual campaign?
At the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, grow, and thrive — regardless of their financial circumstances. That belief has guided our work for 150 years, and it continues to shape our commitment to the community.
Our financial assistance program is funded entirely through charitable contributions. Membership and program fees help cover the cost of operating our facilities, employing our dedicated staff, and delivering programs and services. They do not fund financial assistance.
That is why the Annual Campaign is so important. Gifts from members, staff, donors, businesses, and community partners help remove financial barriers and ensure that more people can access the programs and experiences that strengthen their health, confidence, and well-being.
When you support the Annual Campaign, you help make sure that financial hardship does not stand in the way of a child attending camp, a parent finding dependable childcare, or an individual accessing resources to live a healthier life.
