15 days prior to session starts date pay balance in full, complete Health Form, Camper Release, and Camp Store Account ($50 recommended amount for a week prices include crew necks $28, Hoodies $42, T shirts $16, stuffed animals $12-$15, draw string backpacks $6, water bottles $6-$10, journals $10, bandanas $6-$10, bucket hats $20, mood rings $6).
About Mystic Lake YMCA Camp
Since 1926 Mystic Lake YMCA Camp has been providing children and families with outstanding programs focused on helping them grow. Sessions at camp focus on the character values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility within each activity. Through our character development we are able to foster social responsibility, self-confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging during your child’s stay with us. The staff at Mystic Lake YMCA Camp are highly trained and very committed to the goals of camp. References and previous work experiences are thoroughly reviewed, and criminal background checks are conducted prior to hiring. They are hard working individuals who are dedicated, experienced, responsible, enthusiastic, positive and FUN! All staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid, and specialists have certifications specific to their area of expertise.
At Mystic Lake YMCA Camp, our goals are centered around helping each child:
Learn about social responsibility through environmental stewardship, community living and working with one another in a group setting that builds friendships.
Develop and learn new skills to help improve their sense of self-worth and confidence by creating an accepting environment where all are welcome and everyone belongs.

The ACA’s rigorous accreditation process ensures our programs operate at the highest levels and meet or exceed the established standards to ensure that campers and staff stay safe and healthy. Meet the Mystic Lake Directors
Ricky Wright, Executive Director
Responsibilities: Working with all departments to ensure programs and camp experiences are high quality. Building relationships with our community of camp supporters.
Camp experience: I came to Mystic Lake for a school field trip in 7th grade. I have served at Mystic as a leadership counselor, summer camp director, program director and as the Executive Director since 2005.
Free time: Camping, spending time enjoying our camp property and spending time with my wife Lori and our dog Buddy.
Favorite camp activity: Playing campers in a game of carpetball and talking with campers on the front porch.
Amiee Woodrow, Senior Program Director
Responsibilities: Planning summer camp, hiring our amazing staff, outdoor education, retreats, American Red Cross trainings and waterfront safety.
Camp experience: I began my camp career in 2010 as a summer camp counselor and joined the Mystic Lake team in 2014.
Free time: Reading, crafting, planning events, hiking and serving on the YMCA Mid America Camping Conference Planning Committee.
Favorite camp activity: Watching the beautiful sunsets we see over Pine Point with camp friends.
