Coronavirus Update:

March 16, 2020

YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing Members and Program Participants,

With the current Coronavirus crisis, the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing will be closed effective 3pm March 16, 2020.

We believe staying committed to your health and wellness is and should continue to be a priority for you. To help with this while we are in this national crisis, we are providing for free access to Y360. Y360 is on YouTube and offers multiple fitness classes led by YMCA professionals.

While our facilities are temporarily closed, our work continues to serve the most vulnerable populations in our community. We have a year-round feeding team that we have activated, and we are feeding daily to kids, families and individuals who have a need for food. We currently have families whose incomes have stopped because of their line of work and by providing one of the basic needs of life, food, allows them to re-direct their resources elsewhere. The YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing recognizes that with this closure some members and program participants were registered for a class and or may need to make a modification to their membership. We are here to help. Please contact us if you would like a credit voucher placed on your account for future use towards a YMCA class or program. For those looking to make membership modifications, here are three options for you to decide which will fit best for you and your family:

  1. Allow your membership to remain active
  2. Suspend your membership
  3. Cancel your membership

Please communicate your program and membership requests to:

We appreciate your understanding and support during this unusual time. We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and communicate updates as they become available on our website
